My Shadow and a little Door Decoration

This is my little shadow...he follows me everywhere.  Including bringing his special rocking chair behind my desk while I sit back there.  I love him to pieces!
there is probably about 2 extra feet behind my desk and my computer table...he takes up all 2 feet while he's back there with me!

However this is how he likes to sleep during nap time...builds a fort around himself and hes out for at least an hour everyday!!!

So cute how kids see themselves

Shaking it up

Some of my favorite stops while I was in NYC
...Shakes and a Shack?  Yes, please!

And even all the way up in New York, there was a North Carolina bar with ENC Barbeque and everything!  It was the perfect place to watch some ACC football on Saturday.

Put some South in yo mouth...Funny little accent to my game day sweet tea vodka and water served in a mason jar.

Divas, Cookies, and Fall...Just a Typical Day in Miss Jones' Class.

My little Diva...why didn't they have high heels like this when we were little, all I had were my Mom's old shoes!
I found this sitting on my desk after lunch...the two floating yellow popsicle sticks with hair are me and her and the big brown circle...that's a chocolate cookie for us to share...I had some cookies in the back of the classroom from another teacher...I think this was a hint she wanted one!

Happy Fall!

More Facelifts

This little tan and white cheveron picture frame use to be hot pink (surpise, surpise!).
Blue and white stripe frame.
I still need a little pink in my life...just a much cutter pattern.

Finished product...LOVE!!!
Blue and white greek key notecard template on white cardstock also in a picture frame from Walmart for less than a dollar!

Charleston

Hyla was truly one of the most beautiful brides I have EVER seen, and she and Bradley seemed so in love!  I am so happy for them and had a great time with good friends in one of my favorite cities ever.
Doug was such a great sport, he must really love Jessie to put up with 3 girls all weekend!

Amazing

Can non Jewish people do this at their weddings too?  haha

Mondays are just no fun...2 trips down one more to go!

Road Trip

Who wouldn't mind being trailer trash as long as it had cute pink and white stripes?  Too bad we can't head to Charleston in this little gem for the weekend, we wouldn't even need a hotel room...Next time.

Is it the weekend yet?

I knew today was going to be a long day when a kid threw up all over the back of my room before the bell even rang because he was crying so hard for his mom...sick.  Then it only got longer due to the fact that we had open house tonight and I just got home at 8:45.  Whatever happened to 9-5 jobs...I probably should have looked in to them more on career day!  As the day progressed one of my angels got a nose bleed like a fire hose and to top off the school day one of my other kids peed all over himself after lunch because he couldn't figure out how to unbutton his pants...sweet.  I absolutely love teaching but days like today do make the fact that we get a whole summer off worth it.  However, tonight at open house one of my student's parents from last year told me that she had a really hard time adjusting over the summer to not being with me everyday.  Turns out she would not go to sleep without holding on to a picture of me and her from graduation...those are the things that make my job so enjoyable and worth every day like today.  Thank God tomorrow is Friday, and we are heading to Charleston this weekend for Hyla and Bradley's wedding!  I can't wait!

Monday Moans

A Monday back at work after a long weekend filled with bachelorette party excitement can be downright depressing.  However, thanks to Pinterest I can escape during my lunch break to browse through a few inspirational pictures.  If only my closet could be big enough to have its own shoe collection...one day!  I would seriously consider foregoing children to own something as amazing as this shoe closet...who wants to turn their spare bedroom into a nursery when you could have a little piece of Jimmy Choo and Minolo Blahnik Heaven in there instead.
However, the only way I'm going to be able to ever afford this beautiful shoe collection would be to work in a shoe store...Not going to happen. (Other people's feet creep me out.)
Cheers to possibilities! Until then, prancing around in heels with my friends on the weekends will have to do!

3 States in 3 Weeks

This weekend will be the first of my 3 mini vacations!  I'm leaving today for Florida to help celebrate Garison before she gets married!!!

Then its off to Charleston to celebrate Hyla and Bradley's wedding and wrapping it all up in NYC!  It's going to be an exciting and exhausting month!  I have a feeling I am going to need to stock up on a surplus of Advil and Gatorade to make it out alive!  I can't wait!

Animal Instincts

Thank you Forever21 for fulfilling my animal print need.  Since I finally got paid I was able to get my hands on some beautiful accessories....FOR CHEAP!  It was totally worth fighting off the pre-teens and trendy high schoolers.

Welcome to Miss Jones' 2011-2012 Kindergarten Class

I am so excited to have a new group of angels to teach this year!  Aren't they cute?!?!  I can already tell I am going to fall in love with each and every one of these little babies.
When this little guy goes into the bathroom he always sticks his head back out of the door before he goes in and waves bye to me as if he will never see me again!  He also waves bye to me in the lunchroom and when I come back to pick them up, he gets very excited and has to come hug me!  This would be really cute except for the fact that 90% of the time half of his lunch is all down the front of his shirt and when he comes in for the hug I also get to walk around for the rest of the day with cafeteria pizza on my clothes!  Did I mention, I am in love with every single one of them! haha

I forgot how literal they can be the first couple of weeks of school.  When we walk in the hall we still do the good old finger up over their mouths as they walk.  This little cutie pie likes to use his middle finger!  Bless his heart, I could just eat him up!!!  Not to mention he's a triplet and all 3 of them are absolutely adorable!
More stories to come, feel free to stop by and play if you're ever in the neighborhood!
