Rockefellering Around the Christmas Tree

Tonight at 7pm the biggest and most beautiful Christmas tree ever will be lit for everyone to see, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree!  I have seen this tree in person a few times and each year I went to see it, I got just as excited as I was my very first time!  In fact, one year I went to see one of my bestfriends, Mary Ellen, and I made her and her roommates be in a picture of it with me then left it as the background of my treo (the old zach morris block I use to have for a phone) for the whole year no matter what month it was!  Merry Christmas!

Gobble, Gobble!

We had a great Thanksgiving feast aka partying with 21 kindergarteners! 

 

After a big day at school I headed to Morehead for the holiday and had a wonderful time catching up with family and friends.

Hanging out with family, I am so happy to finally have girls at our family functions!!!

Also, congratulations to Stephanie and Dan who got engaged!!!  I am so happy for both of you and CAN'T WAIT to celebrate!

Y'all are going to have beautiful little babies...one day!

Raleigh Times

This weekend was the first weekend I have actually been able to hang out around Raleigh in a long time!  It was good to catch up with old friends!  Friday we ate at Humble Pie and it was delicious, then off to 5 points for the night!

 

Now its two days of work then off to Morehead for Thanksgiving!!!  I can't wait to see my family!

Turkey Time

Next week is THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!  So, this week we have been using turkeys in a lot of our work!  Here is our Bulletin Board display which is patterns using colors in both Spanish and English

We also wrote words that start with the letter T on the feathers of a turkey!  My little turkeys, aka students, have really loved working with all of the Thanksgiving stuff, but I am ready to move to my favorite holiday, Christmas!!!

Gary and Jimmy are MARRIED!!!

I had a wonderful weekend celebrating Jim and Garison this weekend in Conover, NC.  They had a beautiful fall wedding and I couldn't be happier for them!  Congrats!
