It's Starting to Feel A lot Like Christmas

It's rainy and chilly outside today...I think I need this to keep warm and to watch movies under!  I don't think I would EVER leave my couch!  If there are any last minute shoppers out there, this would be great (and its on sale)!

Holiday Parties

This weekend was a very full, very busy, and very fun weekend.  We went to a big Christmas party but also celebrated Mrs. Jessie Short's 27th birthday.  Getting together with some of my best friends to help celebrate one of their birthdays is probably one of my most favorite things to do.

I also got to catch up and celebrate with one of my favorite couples who just got ENGAGED!  So happy for you guys, Tim and Betsy.

Garison was pretty much a member of the band all night.

And Bradley being a romantic and stealing some of the decorations for his beautiful wife, haha.

It was a great weekend, and was definitely a fun way to celebrate the season!

Christmas list...wish list....birthday list, WANT LIST!!!

So since I have pretty much maxed out my list for Santa I have a few extra wants that can go on a simple wish list, future birthday list, and basically just plain WANT LIST!  So if there are any Secret Santas out there still trying to do some last minute shopping for me...here's a few more beautiful things to add to my list.

How comfortable does this pottery barn faux-fur throw blanket look?  I don't think I would ever get off the couch!

I have finally decorated my tiny little apartment for Christmas.  It doesn't take much, but since I have to do so much with the holidays in school I kind of neglected my home until today!

 For Fun Friday this week we made gingerbread houses!  They turned out really cute.

Jesus cracks me up, he had so much fun!

My kids had to turn in their animal projects today.  They got to pick any two animals and tell me things that were the same and different about them...how cute are these two videos they made!

Is it Friday yet?

Just a quick little conversation from today between me and one of my little babies...I used the name "Little Angel" instead of her real name.

It's the end of the day and this little angel has driven me crazy all day...and probably asked me a million and one questions about nothing important, like what color the sky is!

Me:  "Little Angel, do you wake up every morning and try to think of different ways to drive me crazy?"
Little Angel:  Well, yes.  I did think of you this morning!

Haha, it's those small moments that make teaching so fun!

Christmas has arrived in Miss Jones' Class.

This week we are learning about the Gingerbread Man.  We got a little crazy decorating our Gingerbread Men today to make a beautiful (sparkly) Christmas decoration.  Thursday and Friday we are going to make GINGERBREAD HOUSES!!!  Pray for me that I make it out alive!

I tried to contain the glitter to a box...I was unsuccessful...Glitter now covers my classroom as well as myself!
