Updates in Miss Jones' Classroom

We read this book this week to go over class rules and how to treat each other then we made our own class book of what the Meanies do at school.  I tried my best to make our cover look just like the real thing.

 

It has been a very busy couple of weeks but I have managed to take a couple of pictures of my new angels!

Atlanta and Classroom Updates

These past few weeks have been packed with school and busy weekends.  Right now I have 27 kids in my classroom, hopefully we will get a new teacher within the next two weeks and life can go back to somewhat normal in Miss Jones' class!  Since school is so crazy, I've been spending my weekends all over.  Last weekend I went to Atlanta and had a great time catching up with friends!  Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Crazy Times

These last few weeks have been incredibly busy for me!  With a combination of first weeks of school and trying to maintain a social life I feel like it has been a roller coaster!  Last weekend I went with one of my friends that is in the Raleigh Terpsichorean Club as his date to the Deb Ball and Parties that they host.  It was an awesome weekend, but it was party after party after cocktail party!  A lot of dressing up and drinking and it all reminds me that I'm no longer 22 anymore and can't handle a whole weekend of events!  Luckily this week should be a little less crazy!  I didn't have my camera at any of the parties because I checked my purse and left my camera in there but here are a few cell pics from the weekend that I stole off of facebook from other friends!

Sorry for not posting lately and being MIA...I've had a lot going on between going to all of these doctor appointments lately and starting school.  Thank you so much to everyone who has been so supportive and really made me feel loved...I'm a lucky girl, to say the least!
Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks of summer before school started back...I actually managed to feel good enough to get to go out on the boat Saturday and go out Saturday night for the first time in a long time!

After seeing such a beautiful sunset this weekend and staying out on the boat as long as possible the group we were with started talking about what you would want to do if you woke up and were told it was your last day...

 My Answer:  Since I've already been Sky Diving, and went mountain climbing in the Rocky Mountains I decided that I would want to spend the entire day on the boat, grilling hotdogs (those of you that know me well know how much I love a hotdog) and be with My Family, especially my Sweet Mom, and watch a sunset like this right before it was time to go.  It's truly one of the most beautiful and calming things to witness.  To finish everything off at the very end, I would love to watch a beautiful firework show (another one of my most favorite things to watch) over the water while still on the boat listening to some good country music...it's a deep question, but it really makes you think of what you would truly want to do or experience.  

Also, a HUGE congratulations to my baby cousin who got engaged last weekend!  She will be a beautiful bride and I'm so excited for her!
