This is what is happening in my in my room today...Happy Halloween!

Cold and Rainy

We were suppose to go on a field trip today to the Pumpkin Patch, but since the temperature decided to drop about twenty degrees and rain we had to reschedule for next week!

This was us at recess today trying to stay warm...the good thing about kindergarten is they love to snuggle up.

On a day like today it makes me want some new rainboots, slippers, and gloves to keep warm!

Hyla's Relaunch

A pretty little necklace to get me through the week!  I have a two day workshop in Chapel Hill that I'm not exactly thrilled about having to go to, but at least I will have a cute new necklace to wear!

Happy Monday

This weekend went by so fast!  I can't believe it's already Monday!  This weekend we celebrated Steph's birthday on Friday night by going to see Grace Potter at the Koka Booth, then out in Raleigh.  Saturday I went to Charlotte for the night to go out and then Sunday went to the Panthers game.  I got back late last night and am really tired today, but it was definitely worth it!

Happy Hump Day

I think I have the smartest kindergarteners in the entire world...probably because of their genius teacher!  I took a risk today and signed up for our laptop cart, and they had so much fun! 

How can you not love your job when you're around little angels like this all day?

Birthday Celebrations

This past weekend was such a fun and busy weekend!  Friday night we went to a new restaurant in Raleigh called, Oro.  It was a fun little tapas place downtown then we went to five points for the rest of the night.

 

 Saturday we celebrated Garison's 27th Birthday!  We had so much fun and I'm really glad I could be there to help her celebrate!  She's been such a good friend and I think she had a great time!  Monday has been so depressing after a fun weekend like that, but only 4 more days until the next one!  This coming weekend we are celebrating another one of my favorite people's birthdays, Stephanie, by going to the Grace Potter concert Friday night!  Can't wait!

After a full day of celebrating we went to Cantina 18 for dinner where things got a little aggressive!  After that we finished celebrating with a little dancing at The Architect.  It was definitely a fun weekend, I'm sad it's already over!

Candy Corn

Haha, their random conversations never get old...I love it!
We've also been doing a lot with Candy Corn...taste testing it, graphing it, counting it, etc.

 Last weekend I went to the football game, and had so much fun!  I still can't believe we won!  Go Pack!
